We have recently added a Learning Glass studio to the QERL, the Qualitative Education Research Lab. This equipment allows faculty to easily make instructional videos that incorporate PowerPoint screens, computer animations, etc. They can even write text and equations that look as if they are floating in air. (See below.) There is strong interest across STEM departments.
We have a User’s Guide and are ready and willing to fully assist STEM faculty as they make materials to support their instruction in flipped classrooms or via distance learning videos. Here is a demo of the kinds of things you can do in our LearningGlass Studio.
Contact Bob Beichner if you would like to arrange this.
